It's up to you if its cost effective and worthwhile. But like I said GSXRs are not power restricted like the R6/R1, CBR-1000 and ZX-10 are so there isn't going to be some really noticeable top end gains from it. The bike feels plenty healthy and made good power on the dyno, but I didn't really have a pre-flash setup to compare it to, I just had it flashed when I was building it back up for the track. I can get a PCV for 250-300 or ECUnleashed charges 450 to flash the ECU. I told them not to touch the rev limiter, and I suggest anyone with a stock valve-train do the same if you want to keep your motor from grenading itself, and to also leave the fuel map alone since I was going to get it custom mapped by a local tuner using the Bazzaz I have on the bike. After getting rid of the cat should I go with ECU flash or PCV I won’t be doing anything to the bike after the cat delete so I’m leaning more towards the ECU flash over the PCV. To us this said a lot about their knowledge into ECUs. Here is the list of the flashes ECUnleashed currently has. They lowered the fan temp to kick on at 200 instead of 220, advanced the ignition a bit to better utilize 91-93 pump, changed the speed the throttle bodies close I think so there's less of an engine braking effect on deceleration (I think). So far sport rider has done a lot of testing on ECUnleashed as well with very good results form the fz1 to the 2011 zx10. It's nothing earth shattering for our bikes really. This particular writeup is for use with K6 and K7 600 or 750s with a FlashTune flashed ECU.

I was tempted to use Guhl, who does Brock's tunes, but he removed all references to ECU flashing from his website last time I checked, probably for legal reasons, but he knows his stuff.I had flash-tune reflash my 600's ECU. There's a tuner who likes to bash him, some guy that specializes in Euro bikes, but it's probably just jealousy. And while he is a drag racer, he doesn't necessarily tune for ultimate HP, he is well aware that bottom end torque is more important on the street and the track than ultimate HP numbers at useless near redline RPM's. Jump to Latest Follow 41 - 60 of 73 Posts. Contrary to what has been said here, he does concern himself with decel fuel cut and the herky jerky throttle that it can cause. I did a mail in flash for my CBR600RR with Chris Moore, very happy with that as well. Ducati, Harley Davidson, Triumph and Yamaha motorcycles. Much faster and smoother throttle response, but there are added benefits such as top speed limiter disabled, fans come on at a lower temperature, rev limiter raised by 500 RPM, and traction control settings are remembered so you don't return to default when shutting off the bike. Woolich Racing Suzuki ECU Flashing products allow you to tune the maps and settings in the Suzuki ECU. Bought the ad on fuel table option for my exhaust and was very pleased. Did a mail in flash on my ZX-14R with Schnitz. Anyway I thought I'd share my ECU flashing experiences FWIW. I guess I need convincing that this will actually work with some one else before chasing the dogs tail again on this.įirst of all, I don't own a GSXR, closest I ever got was an SV1000S, which I loved but that makes me a member of a tiny minority. I used Danos Performance on my GSX-S1000 after the FTECU disaster and it was ok up top but down low in the daily usage zone it was not any better than FTECU junk. Suzuki GSXR 600 and GSXR 750 - (2011-23) (125. But I would like the fuel cut and stuff like that turned off and the top end power restriction put back into it.

He is 430 miles away from me and typically backed up and this is only my streetbike and 100% stock and a really nice bike I do not feel like hammering the hell out of. Back when I road raced Brian Livengood always did my bikes tuning on his dyno and he was a big fan of the dynojet power commanders or external stuff and only flashed ecus to get the lock stuff on and nannies off. Just leary of the whole ecu flash thing after the FTECU ordeal.

I would like to do something to the ecu and possibly get a new Yosh full system for it. It only has 1400 miles on it in a year I've owned it. Yea I threw a nice Yosh Alpha T slip on it and that was where I stopped even riding it or using it. Discuss the GSX-R600, GSX-R750, GSX-R1000, and GSX-R1100, and more Show Less. A forum community dedicated to the Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle. I have not done a thing to my 2021 GSX-R1000R since buying it. how do i flash my 2003 gsxr 600 ecu Ive looked everywhere to find someone to flash my ecu and everyone is telling me only 2004 and up can be flashed. I have been following Chris Moore and his videos and I wasn't convinced he had good driveability with his flashes as most are clueless when they actually have it done and just accept it as normal when in fact they run like crap down low. I can tell you one company that will never get my money again is FTECU they royally screwed up my 2016 GSX-S1000 ecu more than once.
