The DVDs play absolutely perfectly windowed as long as I keep the window to ~70% of my screen or less (Tried on both monitors with same result), but as soon as I maximize the window, go to full screen mode, or make the window too large the picture skips very frequently and makes the DVDs basically unwatchable (The skipping is erratic in frequency but I'd guess on average 2-3 skips every 10 seconds or so). I used to use Windows Media Player, but it seems that in Windows 10, WMP doesn't play DVDs. It isn't the DVD because I've tried 5 DVDs, all of which I've recently watched. My internet seems fine and most of my programs seem unaffected thus far, but today I tried playing a DVD and I'm having picture problems. About 10 minutes later my computer restarted itself and began installing Windows 10 (I was not pleased at that) and the process took about an hour and a half and by the end of the process I was already in bed. Next day (Day before yesterday), I also got home from work late and again chose to hit the 8 hour postponement button so that I could wait until today to properly look into it. It was late and I was going to bed in a couple of hours and didn't know if any of my programs would work properly in Windows 10 so I hit the 8 hour postponement option so that I could do more research when I had the time, such as on a weekend. A few days ago I got home from work and had a notification that my computer was going to upgrade to Windows 10 and the only option I had was several postponement duration options.no rejection option. I've been getting notifications for months that I can upgrade to Windows 10 for free and I've been ignoring them because everything works (I should say "worked" I suppose), and I didn't plan to upgrade my OS until I bought a new computer in a year or two. I was running Windows 7 and used to watch DVDs using Windows Media Player. So no, this feature request was NOT crazy, and please let's not get rid of it.All right, I'm going to preface this with a little info so that the most obvious questions can be ruled out (Like whether the DVD itself is bad). Maybe an hour of my time wasted, as well as mucking with my delivery, and probably similar amount of pointless busywork for the editors who also had to cut out all the taskbar chicanery. If you want to see crazy, see me after having to open 20 versions of potplayer instead of just one, then juggling them all in the taskbar. Maybe this doesn't sound like a lot of effort to you, but when you have 20+ movies and 20+ chapters, well, this gets tedious very quickly. When recording tutorials before having this feature, I had to manually open each file. I need to be able to play a movie, let it cycle, talk to the students over the animation that's happening, then be able to move to the next item in the playlist when I want to, NOT when the playlist does. This involves playing many short movies (up to 20 or 30 in some cases). Here's why this feature saves me a lot of time: I use Potplayer as a lecture tool when giving classes. This feature is NOT crazy you simply do not understand my needs. Old thread I know, but I can't let this slide, on the off-chance that someone reads this and thinks it's a feature that should be removed. If you do not want them to play then do not list them. So it figures that the whole point of a Playlist is to play all the items in that list. 'Playlist' combines two words - 'Play' and 'List'.

This must be one of the most crazy topics that I have ever come across.
